PYRAMID POWER
Introduction
The Great Pyramid at Giza in Egypt is the only remaining "wonder" of the ancient world. It is a structure which has both fascinated and confounded archaeologists, scholars and everyday people. The Great Pyramid is the largest structure in the world and contains more stone than all the churches and cathedrals in Britain put together. The knowledge of geometry and engineering needed to construct such a thing is probably behind our capability today. Yet this pyramid, like the hundreds of other less popular ones found in all corners of the globe, have an enormous amount to teach us.
The Great Pyramid was built with an awareness of the mystical numbers Pi (F) 3.14 and Phi (f) 1.618. These numbers are the basis of geometric form in the universe as they go on into infinity being the basis for spiral and circular geometry. They are said to have been "discovered" by Pythagorous in about 600 BC, however the builders of the pyramids were aware of this geometry many years before this. If you take the pyramid base to be a square with four isosceles triangles coming from it. The dimensions of the Great Pyramid are as follows: If you assign the value 1 to half of the base then the slant height is Phi and the height from the apex to the base is the square root of Phi.
In constructing a pyramid the ratio of the sides to the base are 1.051 to 1.0.
Therefore a base of 3 will have sides of 2.85 (approximate height 2)
When were the pyramids built
At school we were told that pyramids were tombs built be the Pharaohs. This is complete fabrication. Firstly, no Pharaoh has ever been found buried in a pyramid. Secondly, the time of construction is base on a cartouche (stamp or signature) on the Great Pyramid linking it to the time of Cheops (2500 BC), this is a proven forgery yet the establishment still maintain its stance. Thirdly, erosion at the base of the Great Sphinx dates it to at least 4000 BC and the archeoastrological reading of the Great Pyramid is that it was built in alignment with the constellation of Orion 10,500 BC.
Who built the pyramids
The accepted view that the Pharaohs and many slaves built the pyramids becomes ridiculed when the date of construction is pushed back before the Egyptian civilisation began. Thus the builders remain unknown and we can only speculate as to who they were. What is known is that the precision of the engineering is equal to any 20th century technology indicating a high degree of knowledge and technology.
The use of pyramids
It is clear the pyramids were not tombs, and the other view they were "temples" leaves the question of there use entirely unanswered. One thing that a geometrically perfect pyramid does is generate energy. All creation is condensed energy, and geometry has its own resonance and energy, much like music. The geometric resonance of a pyramid creates a storehouse of energy within and around it. The potential of using this energy is at present largely unknown, however the last 50 years has seen a new awareness of people using pyramid power.
One famous example is the ability for a rezor blade to become sharp after use if it is placed inside of a model pyramid aligned along the North-South axis at a height of 1/3 of the way up from the base. The North-South allignment is important (it should be remembered that the pyramids at Giza are perfectly aligned to the compass) as it allows the blade to be synchronised with the magnetic energy of the earth. The specific height of 1/3 of the way up seems to be a point of maximum energy generation (this is where many chambers were placed on full scale pyramids.
Whilst sharpening rather blades has some use and can clearly demonstrate the pyramid energy (a patent exists for this function is anyone is sceptical about this) greater value can be gained from working with a model pyramid directly. If one is placed under a seat, many people report heightened concentration and facilitation with meditation, creativity and relaxation. A pyramid can be placed under ones bed to aid restful sleep and bring about vitality. It can even be worn as a hat! Try it and see.
Pyramids are wonderful at preserving and enhancing foods, seeds and water (honey found in the Egyptian pyramids was perfectly preserved).
Pyramid Meditation
The four sides of a pyramid represent the four elements of earth, air, fire and water. Having a pyramid as a central alter in a room greatly facilitates our awareness of the elements and allows us to perceive our oneness with them. The four elements form the basis of mystery school teachings and of modern physics. Each element is represented by a colour and direction, thus:
Direction North / East / South / West
Colour Red / White / Blue / Black
Element Earth / Air / Fire / Water
To do a simple elemental meditation face each of the four directions in turn and repeat a prayer or affirmation of gratitude for each element and all that it gives. This simple technique is very powerful in attuning us with the earth. We are made of the elements, and to acknowledge them enriches our existence.
